The project
ok.0moz is my visual-essay channel project. An everyday situation raises a question; research and editing seek to explain it. I work on writing, visual direction, editing and the AI-assisted pipeline. The pilot is not yet published.
01
It all starts with the zokomo face.
ok.0moz reuses the letters of zokomo. The two o’s become eyes; the upturned crown becomes teeth. The portfolio mark becomes the channel’s face. Halftone and a cathode screen carry that connection into a different visual register.
02
Start from something concrete.
The pilot begins with an observation: luxury shops that seem almost empty. The story moves from the window to the workings behind it, then returns to the starting situation. Writing begins with what can be seen and seeks sources that can explain it.
03
AI, in the open.
The voice is a clone of my own; the edit follows it. The pipeline connects spoken script, voice takes, images, scenes and mix. Reconstructions use generated images, distinguished from archive material: they represent a situation rather than proving that it happened.
04
Ordinary situations.
An aircraft safety card, IKEA, a line on a ship’s hull, a bench or a metro map. The topics in preparation also begin with familiar objects. The question is to understand the decisions and mechanisms we stop noticing through familiarity.
