A good image is not always a good cover.
A cover invites you in. What follows has to keep its promise. These are the things I look for when choosing an image, and the reasons I leave one out.

What I look for in a reference.
I can like a website without its choices being right for my project. To understand why it works, I start by looking at what it puts first.

Movement, with control over the visit.
I like interfaces that react, bend and surprise me. I also want to move forward, go back and read without having to fight them.

An identity has to work in everyday use.
A logo on a well-made board gives a first impression. I also want to know what happens to it on a small button, an invitation or a page full of content.
